JANA MAGARIAN, APRN
OWNER OF RADIANT ESTHETICS
Jana is the owner of Radiant Esthetics. Radiant Esthetics MedSpa was founded in 2017 to help clients who want to enhance their natural beauty. Jana grew interested in medical esthetics after she saw how slight enhancements could improve confidence in ones’ appearance.
Jana is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the Esthetics Skin Institute and the American Academy of Procedural Medicine.

MARIA BARAKAT BROWN, RN
Maria is one of our highly skilled nurse injectors!
Maria completed her BSN at Salem State University in 2012, and went on to work in Boston as a Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse for several years before moving to Rhode Island. It was after moving to RI that Maria found her passion for esthetics. After becoming a certified esthetic nurse in 2019 with the Audrey Rose Institute, Maria joined the Radiant Esthetics team. Maria brings with her a wealth of knowledge and attention to detail attained as a bedside nurse. Maria holds certifications with the Esthetics Skin Institute as well as Empire Medical Traning.
Maria has a passion for making people look and feel their best. “I’m happiest when my patients tell me what a huge difference a procedure has made for their confidence. Everyone deserves to feel confident and beautiful in their own skin.”

JULIA HORAN, NP
Julia attended the University of Rhode Island for both her Undergraduate and Masters degree in Nursing. From there Julia worked as a nurse at Rhode Island Hospital for 6+ years in telemetry, medical-surgical nursing, and oncology. Julia began her Nurse Practitioner career at neurosurgery at RIH specializing in brain tumor management. Most recently, Julia has been working as a primary care provider in addition to beginning her career in aesthetic medicine.

PAIGE JOHNSON, RN BSN
Paige is a skilled nurse injector and the newest addition to our Radiant Esthetics team!
Paige completed her BSN at University of Rhode Island in 2016. She began working in Massachusetts as an Emergency Room Nurse for three years before starting her career in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit. After the pandemic hit Paige took on the role of an emergency room travel nurse before settling back into the Emergency Department at Newport Hospital. Seeking a new passion and challenge Paige took off to Boston where she received her certification for neurotoxins and injectables.
Paige trained directly under Jana, learning and perfecting her techniques to achieve natural results for her clients. Paige is passionate about making her clients feel their best by not changing their natural beauty, but by enhancing it.

JOANNA HOLDER, APRN
Joanna is one of our talented nurse injectors!
Joanna obtained her Family Nurse Practitioner degree in Spring of 2020 at URI.
In addition to working at Radiant Esthetics, Joanna works as a NP at Newport Hospital.
Joanna enjoys and appreciates medical esthetics, as she learned how subtle enhancements can improve one’s confidence, thus improving one’s mental wellbeing.

ALEXANDRA SULLIVAN, ESTHETICIAN
Alexandra joined Radiant Esthetics as an esthetician in June 2021. Alexandra is excited to be offering facials with the Skinceuticals line of professional products.
After graduating from the University of Florida and working in fashion in New York City, Alexandra made a change in 2017 when she pursued her lifelong passion for skincare by attending the Aveda Institute.
Alexandra has worked as an esthetician at Castle Hill Inn and in production for Newport-based skincare company Farm Aesthetics. She is fulfilled by helping clients create skincare routines that serve their lifestyles and meet their goals.

MEGAN COBB, ESTHETICIAN
Meg joined Radiant Esthetics as an esthetician in June 2021. Meg is excited to be offering facials with the Skinceuticals line of professional products as well as hydrafacials, waxing, spray tanning and lash services.
After successfully working in public relations for a speaker company Meg decided it was the right time to make a change. Meg graduated from Rob Roy’s aesthetic program in Worcester, MA in 2005. Upon graduating, Meg worked at Essential Esthetics , one of the top spas in Worcester, MA. After moving to Newport in 2009, Meg worked at The Apothecary before coming to work here at Radiant Esthetics.
Megan has now expanded her services to encompass more than just the face. Meg now offers full body waxing, airbrush spray tanning, brow design and lash lifting and tinting, as well as hydrafacials, facials and chemical peels.
